Recognition of the flags is important to your safety on track. Locate each flagging station on your first lap of the day, and make a visual check of each station on every pass.

The flags and their meanings are as follows:

The track is open and clear.

Image YELLOW - steady:
Slow down and be prepared to take further action.
NO PASSING!

Image YELLOW - waving:
Serious trouble "in the driving line". Slow down and be prepared to stop or take evasive action. NO PASSING!

Image RED w/ YELLOW Stripes:
Debris on track. Some foreign matter (Sand, dirt, oil, standing water, car part dropped on course etc.) Proceed with caution. Prepared to slow your speed or alter your path.
